Direct Scale

A direct scale measures the degree of achievement of an objective directly. Thus, if we deal with the objective “minimize the cost of establishing a facility,” a direct-scale would be the cost of establishing the facility; that is, a value for the attribute “cost” will be assigned to each facility.
