Communication

Communication is the process of transferring information from a sender to a receiver via a common medium. It requires that all parties understand and exchange language that could include speaking or tone of voice as well as nonverbal methods such as body language, sign language, eye contact, or writing. It is a process by which we assign and convey meaning in an attempt to create shared understanding often of a though-provoking idea or concept. Good communication requires a vast repertoire of intrapersonal and interpersonal processing skill, including listening, observing, speaking, questioning, analyzing, and evaluating.
