Defense

In military science, defense is the art of preventing an attack or minimizing the damage of an attack usually by preventing an enemy from conquering territory. More broadly, defense could be a set of actions that protects an idea or concept, or a position on a particular subject. In this context good defense involves gathering and synthesis of data and information to support certain points.
