Waste Management

Waste management is the collection, transport, processing, recycling, or disposal of materials originating from human activity. Waste management is undertaken to reduce its effect on health, the environment or aesthetics and to recover resources which could otherwise be lost. Waste management can involve solid, liquid, gaseous or radioactive substances, with different methods and expertise for each.
