Point Allocation Approach

The point allocation approach is one of the simplest rating methods. It requires the decision maker to allocate 100 points across the criteria of interest. Specifically, it is based on allocating points ranging from 0 to 100, where 0 indicates the criterion can be ignored and 100 represents the situation where only one criterion need be considered.
